Simplifying the learning process

Our spacious campuses have excellent facilities and opportunities for students to exercise, fully develop academic as well as extracurricular interests and make the learning more practical and more comprehendible. We have equipped our classes with the best in modern day learning technology to allow for greater engagement in the learning process. Classes are equipped with whiteboards, interactive digital screens and projectors.

Brookhurst has 31 spacious, well designed classrooms, 6 of these classes have been specially designed for the Art and Music. The current construction of a Brookhurst art gallery room will enable us to showcase the works of our amazing students. We have qualified clinical officers to address minor health needs of the students in our Sanatoriums. We have partnered with external emergency services providers to handle any immediate issues on campus.

Boarding

Boarding at Brookhurst International School is more of a home away from home this is made certain with the provision of a safe, caring and friendly environment, offering a wealth of opportunity for individual development. We have well-furnished boys and girl’s dormitory with kitchenettes, salon, modern beds, study rooms, and spacious individual lockers. Girl’s board at the Wangari Mathai house while the boys board at the aptly titled Heroes Tower.

Boarding staff ensure there is regular communication with parents about the progress of their child. Assistance is available to help boarders with their academic development. The daily routine ensures a balanced and organized approach to school, homework, sport, and co-curricular activities and allows time simply to relax, socialize and have fun. The general care and welfare of our boarders is of paramount importance they also have a qualified clinical officer to check on them.

Labs, ICT & the libraries

We have well equipped laboratories and preparation rooms that are well furnished and provide adequate space for the students to work on individual and group projects. The individual laboratories for chemistry, physics and biology are tailored to the requirements of each of these subjects. Students studying in subject tailored labs know they’ll lack nothing in accomplishment of their course requirements.

Brookhurst’s ICT centers are geared towards learners learning with the best technology available. The ICT courses are rigorous in nature as they range from computing to early coding. Students require the ICT facilities available in order to match course work. Equipment include interactive digital boards, computers, tablets, VR googles.

We have well-stocked libraries with books that suit the scholarly need of each student and teacher. They are also well furnished and equipped. Brookhurst’s libraries would not be complete without our well experienced librarians who guide our students in choosing the right books for their study. The electronic library serves the purpose of a resource center for both Students and teachers. The school has ensured all students and teachers have access to 4 global online libraries best suited for the British National curriculum.
