My fondest memories in Brookhurst must be hanging out with my friends at the sports pitch, biology lessons and class trips. Always joking around and building everlasting bonds with each other. I came from Tanzania as a nervous young girl and came out of Brookhurst International Schools as a confident, assured leader. Without a doubt, Brookhurst has taught me integrity, leadership skills and being sociable. The teachers have instilled me with integrity, which I’d say is a very important virtue in being a dependable and stable member of society.

Brookhurst International School taught me to be a confident person, build leadership and communication skills whilst interacting with others without being shy. It taught me how to survive alone without the presence of my parents as a first-time boarder. I learnt how to undertake my responsibilities and develop new skills. Being away from home is sad but it feels nice to have second home at Brookhurst which I felt so much love and kindness from my lovely classmates as part of my family. Brookhurst also taught me how to be a good role model by influencing people positively and being supportive to my friends and others too.

Brookhurst allowed me to cultivate a spirit of hard work and dedication that continues to propel me to reach my goals. I also learnt how to work well with others and developed my leadership skills especially during my time on the netball team. The little community we were able to build during our time there is one I am forever grateful for. Those little moments like sharing meals, playing sports and just being able to laugh together are moments that I cherish deeply.

Leading as the school president in 2022 was a privilege, and I cherish the moments when we worked together to create memorable experiences, especially the community-building activities that made us feel like a family. My fondest memories at Brookhurst revolve around the incredible support from teachers and peers, our lively school events, and the unity we had as students.

Brookhurst instilled a strong sense of resilience, adaptability, and the importance of pursuing excellence. These values have shaped my academic and personal journey, giving me confidence to embrace challenges. Being at Brookhurst international school also allowed me to form unique relationships and learn from diverse perspectives.

My fondest memories from my time at Brookhurst are the sports events, trips and being the sport’s captain at that time. I enjoyed the sports tournaments hosted by the school, which left a lasting impression on me. The spirit of competition was instilled in me at Brookhurst International School. I learnt the importance of values such as discipline, resilience, teamwork, creativity, respect. I realized you could never leave Brookhurst the same way as you had come in. You will leave changed for the better.

My experience in Brookhurst not only prepared me for higher education but also equipped me with the tools necessary to navigate the challenges of adulthood and pursue my passions with confidence

Brookhurst aided in the growth of my social interaction skills. I was able to speak up more and interact freely & openly with others. My leadership skills were also improved as I was the Girls Sports Captain and Assistant Entertainment Prefect

Brookhurst has taught me that you should do what you enjoy and be open to challenge yourself beyond your usual experiences. Remember, you're only young once so make it count. Live your passion and don't give up. That is the Brookhurst way.

Brookhurst taught me to be persistent in what I do and never give up. While doing my pre-med programme I make sure I do my work on time and persistently make sure my GPA is up to snuff

Brookhurst taught me the value of respect. Respect for my fellow peers and especially my elders. Respecting others enabled me to have and maintain good relations with the teachers and the whole school's staff.

I began my aviation journey at Brookhurst. The school made sure I was a step ahead of others. Learning courses in my teens while others learn’t it in their 20s.

The key value I learnt at Brookhurst is perseverance. It crucially helped me learn how to set and achieve long term goals both personally and academically. I also learnt that failure is okay because you have to dust yourself off, get up and try again

I learnt that hard work really pays off. The school pushed me to be the best and in the process I appreciated the importance of maintaining a great work ethic. You have to put in the work in all you do. I carry this attitude with me to this day.

I discovered my talents through Brookhurst’s great art teachers. They gave me the chance to experience life on an academic level as I started to develop my passion for the arts. Plus, I really loved the trips.

One of the values Brookhurst impacted on me is the value of cooperation. Through different activities teachers would assign us to be done in groups during classes this taught me how to work as a team, sharing and learning together

My transition to university from high school was not as hard as I thought it would be. Brookhurst was very diverse with students from all over the world such as the UK and USA therefore made it easier for me to adapt and communicate to the different cultures at EU business school.

From my first day I joined Brookhurst, teachers were fully dedicated to ensure students had the right resources to help them academically.

My fondest memories about my time at Brookhurst, was the commitment that our instructors had in delivering content and facilitating our learning. The dedication of my teachers made it easy for me to work on getting my grades up, especially, where I had challenges.
