Other than the fact that swimming is fun, its health benefits are numerous. more importantly It provides a great cardiovascular workout as well as a workout for the whole body including the arms, back and shoulders. Swimming is also an activity that can assist people of any age with their asthma, also can help children with special needs have fun in a non-competitive environment while providing vital water-survival skills. Surprisingly, research shows that kids who swim are smarter!
